Are you using Social Networking Programs to Build Your Business?
March 11, 2009
How do you promote your business? Do you pay for advertising? Do you have a website? Are you blogging? Do you utilize any of the social networking groups on-line. The single most important thing I have learned is you do not need to pay for advertising to promote your business, not with the social networking sites available today.
Try one of the following: 1) Linkedin, 2) Twitter, 3) Facebook, and/or 4) Myspace. If you have not done it already sign up for one of these accounts. These sites are free–they connect with all ages, all professions and multiple cultures. Linkedin is like a on-line resume, Twitter is micro blogging at it’s finest, Facebook allows you to connect with both friends and colleagues, and Myspace appeals to the younger generation. Each one of these sites has a unique feature that sets them apart from one another but the one thing they have in common is that each site allows you to connect with others on-line.
Don’t overthink which one of these sites is the best, just sign up for one. Dive-in set up a page and start connecting.
